• Is rope safe? The ropes we carry are safe as far as being bird safe materials but please keep in mind that like all bird toys, they should always be monitored and all frayed ends should be kept short length of no longer that 3" at the most.  This helps from your bird getting caught or entangled in frayed ends.  When your bird has chewed off toy parts, consider on taking up the slack if rope becomes a mess.
• Our Cotton Ropes are either Supreme or Suprior - these are made just for the bird toy industry and even though considered safe keep in mind again about frayed areas of the rope.  Loops also pose a threat to the bird hanging themself, so keep loops very small so the head can not fit through any looped areas. This goes for knots as wee that may have be come partly untied. Leather as well that have knots should be kept tight or snug at all times and no loose loops should be present.
• Please remember that no bird toy is 100% safe as all toys and situations vary widely and how they are made by an individual. Always be aware of toys for potential hazards to keep your bird as safe as safe can be!
